At the inception of this boutique, I had a vision. That vision was to help others realize that sexy has nothing to do with physical appearance, but rather how we feel on the inside, that sexy it is not a dirty word when expressed appropriately, that intimacy in marriage is crucial, and that everyone is capable of enjoying the full potential of their relationships.

Unfortunately, the statistics of divorce seem to tell me this vision simply can't be. According to Jennifer Baker of the Forest Institute of Professional Psychologhy, the divorce rate in America for first marriages is 50%, second marriages is 67%, and third marriages is 74%. This knowledge, coupled with my own dealings with intimacy, I grew a passion for being a change agent and thus the vision and the boutique were born.

Perhaps some are wondering how lingerie fits into this vision as it probably seems a bit unlikely. After reading widely and seeking great counsel founded in solid truths, I realized that we are products of our circumstances. By choosing to change my circumstances, (ie what goes into my mind/body/spirit, where I focus my time and energy, and the company I keep) I can completely and radically overcome anything holding me back from being everything I desire, including sexy and attractive in my OWN eyes.

So the boutique was started primarily as a venue to build relationships. There is not one specific type of woman that buys lingerie. Any and all shapes and sizes, insecure, confident, happy and discontent...we all desire to look attractive and experience intimacy. 

The name La Belle Amour Lingerie, LLC  is French and when translated into English means "The Beautiful Love". It is the title of a French song that is in praise of spending a carefree time with one's love. Could there be a better way to capture the essence of what this company has set out to do? I didn't think so; therefore, the name was inherent.

The product line attempts to offer classy and tasteful items that are sexy, yet respectful.  The lingerie and accessories are designed to help women feel as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. This claim excludes no one making our lingerie for everyone in pursuit of creating and maintaining a beautiful love.

The goal of this boutique is to help see lives and relationships changed for the better through the web-site, our business, relationships developed, and the proceeds obtained. I believe each individual is uniquely and perfectly made and want to offer women the ability to outwardly accentuate that in their relationship.
